That is why we are delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Kieran Dix, who has recently completed his BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering – Design Engineer Degree with an exceptional First-Class Honours result.
Kieran’s success is the culmination of years of hard work, determination, and commitment to both his professional and academic development. Having joined Leeds Beckett University in September 2023, Kieran undertook the challenge of studying part-time while continuing to build his career within the industry. Balancing the demands of higher education alongside a busy professional role requires significant dedication, and Kieran has consistently demonstrated the drive and resilience needed to excel in both areas.
This latest achievement marks an important milestone in Kieran’s career and represents a proud graduation moment for both him and the wider Hexagon team. Throughout his studies, Kieran has continued to develop his technical knowledge, practical engineering skills, and understanding of the industry, applying what he has learned directly to real-world projects and contributing positively to the continued success of our business.
In addition to achieving a First-Class Honours degree, Kieran has received two highly prestigious awards in recognition of his outstanding academic performance:
- Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Award for Best Graduating Student on BSc/BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering
- Civil Engineering Prize for the Most Outstanding Project Work on BSc/BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering
These awards reflect not only Kieran’s academic excellence but also the passion, professionalism, and commitment he has demonstrated throughout his studies. Kieran’s graduation is not the end of his professional journey. He still has the final ICE apprenticeship requirements to complete before progressing to his Professional Review later this year.
