Design Technician

Hexagon is looking for ambitious people to join our growing team.

Hexagon is seeking an ambitious Design Technician to join our growing team and further their career in the Civil Engineering industry. You will work within our Design team and manage the business’s structural engineering delivery. You will join an enthusiastic and driven team supporting your career development.

Hexagon is a multidisciplinary provider of pre-construction services and design management for rail depots and bespoke projects. We work with various disciplines, offering complete rail infrastructure design solutions nationwide.

With 10 years of experience delivering complete design packages across the UK rail infrastructure through our complete in-house specialists.

Accountabilities

  • Lead, manage and develop
  • Produce drawing packs
  • Manage drawing change
  • Assist with document control
  • Manage standards library
  • QA completion
  • KPI and data

The Person

  • Computer literate and proficient with structural engineering packages and MS Office
  • Knowledgeable within current design, rail and british standards
  • Must be a hardworking individual who is willing to learn
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication
  • Experience in the industry is essential
  • Should be able to focus on attention to detail
  • Must be able to manage their time efficiently

The Specifics

  • Location: Morley, Leeds
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00am – 17:00pm. Friday 08:00am – 15:30pm
  • Contract: Full-time/Permanent

Pay: £31,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
